Thanks to all of you who had joined us at our birthday celebrating concerts!
And some news.
The album "Shag Vdokh" will be out in January 2007, and it's joyful, of course.
The "Kapkan" label has published pick-up calendar 2007 with some Animal Jazz photo.
The first band's DVD "Animal Jazz" will be presented in February at the concerts over the country.
And! Happy New Year, dears! Hope, there will be the same amount of us next year :) - December, 5
The video on "Tri poloski" are already done. The premier showcase of the clip will be on December 22 at St. Petersburg's Red club and on December 24 at Moscow's Club on Brestskaya. - November, 28

1. The band is finishing the recording of the new album. The planned release date is November
2. It's also planned to play couple of festivals this weekend. After that the musicians will take a little break till November

The set at Nashestvie festival was absolutely ultimate. Our special thanks for that to numerous audience which gave us great support.
The band will open the new season with the concerts at Moscow's B2 club and St. Petersburg's Red club on September 3 and 8 accordingly. They are to present the results of their summer songwriting activity. At the moment the band is recording the new album at the studio. Wait for the photo reports of the recording process. - July, 12
The place of Animal Jazz set at Nashestvie festival was changed. The band will be performing one hour closing set at the Northern stage at 8.00 pm on August 5. But, perhaps, the changes are to be continued:))) - July, 4

Here's detailed information concerning live unplugged set on the STO TV on June 16. To enter the show you have to come to the City-center (St. Petersburg, Petrogradskaya Quay 18a, it's near "Avrora" ship) at 9.00 pm. Come up to the fifth flow at 9.15 pm. Come in to the studio with your passports. The shooting of the program will be being made from 10.00 up 11.00 pm. Of course, it will be free of charge performance. Don't get late.
This time Animal Jazz will play unplugged in five-pieces. - June, 12

The band has played the impetuous set at Nashi v Gorode festival. Gene's guitar lost two strings during his was playing the second song and the rest ones he was doing almost like Paganini.
Now Animal Jazz prepare themselves for All Saints Days at Apelsin and Red Club. It's planned to film the second part for the band's DVD at the Red Club concert. Hope it will be done and out in autumn. Probably, the new electric album will accompany the DVD release. So everybody is to be in full dress in St. Petersburg on June 9. And the unofficial part of the program will be happening in Moscow on June 8. - May, 25
Our traditional thanks to the audience for supporting us at the Ikra club! We believe our next concert at this club won't be soon, if it ever gonna be there in general: As for our participation in St. Petersburg's Nashe Radio Festival we should mark that we'll be performing on Vdokh open-air stage, not on the free of charge one like it was announced earlier. We start at 6.00 pm.

Top news! The new Animal Jazz' album "Unplugged. Part II: Rarities" will be out in June. This record includes Rarities Program' songs which are pretty seldom being played unplugged. The program was recently performed at one of the latest Moscow concerts.
And the band will play 1-hour special guest set at the presentation of the Slot's new album on May 23 at Moscow's Ikra club. Animal Jazz starts at 9.00 pm. - May, 5
Thanks to all who'd come to our concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg for the hearty atmosphere they made! We'll meet you in June at the days of All Saints :) Meantime the band's going to rehearse the songs for the new electric album. - May, 3

The band has lots things to do now and in all directions. They're rehearsing two programs at the same time! The whole band unplugged program will be presented on April 13 in Moscow and on April 30 in St. Petersburg. The "underground songs" will be presented on April 28 in Moscow and in May in St. Petersburg. It will be the unplugged covers on the band's favourite artists. Besides, the negotiations as for the new Animal Jazz album are actively conducted. The release term is autumn 2006. And at last, the shooting of the new video is planned to start! - March, 21
The Moscow concert at "Kitaysky Letchik" starts at 11 pm. The band will be represented only by three of Animal Jazz - Johnson, Mihalych, Igor. Musicians are to play the experimental program "Rarities" consisting of such ancient songs that they even don't remember for sure what accords to play%) "Bez Tebya", "Aravika", for example. Besides, there will be some songs not so old, but never played unplugged before, like "Nikomu", "Nikogda" and others.

While having a break in touring the band doesn't waste time, but works hard at the studio. Now they're recording the soundtrack for "Graffiti", the movie which was chosen for participation in this year's Cannes Film Festival.
